Who are we?

Travelling Animal Doctors is a rapidly growing non-profit organization that provides medical attention to animals around the world. Not only do we strive to treat the animals that need us the most: the strays, the endangered, the abandoned, and the badly treated, but also those that do have loving owners, who simply cannot afford, or do not have access to veterinary care. I, as a fifth-year veterinary student, have the opportunity to volunteer for this amazing organization to both gain the extra experience I am seeking and to do what I love most: treat animals.

What do we do?

Our next big mission will be in Madagascar, where we will cooperate with the Mad Dog Initiative to organize a large-scale spay and neuter campaign from the 4th of June until the 27th of July of this year. Together with our volunteers consisting of veterinarians, veterinary students and individuals devoted to animals, our main goal is to spay and neuter as many dogs as possible during our time in Madagascar. This is important to restrain the growth of the local dog population, since this growth highly affects the indigenous wildlife of Madagascar, especially the Lemurs. You can help us, because in order to realize our goals and help as many animals as possible we are in need of some financial support.

How can you help?

The funds collected through this go fund me campaign will be used to buy veterinary materials and medication for the animals, such as sedatives and painkillers, but will also go toward local transportation for the team. Madagascar is an underdeveloped country, meaning transportation to the areas in need will be challenging and thus one of our biggest expenses.

We are ready to take on this challenge and treat as many animals as possible. We will go in head-first and face any situation we will encounter, no matter how difficult it may be. You can help us by donating and sharing our story. Please feel free to donate any amount that you deem respectable.
