Menaswell

Menaswell is the Dutch organisation advocating for male victims of sexual violence. We work extensively with agencies to improve support for, and visibility of, men and LGBT+ who experience consent breaking.

There’s no funding allocated by the Dutch government to tackle the crisis of men and GBTQ+ people experiencing sexual violence.

This year, there have been 3 high-profile cases of dozens of men being taken advantage of. Up to half of gay and bisexual men experience this in their lifetimes. MenAswell is the Dutch advocacy organisation which works with organisations and community to improve the support they receive.

We urgently need funds to continue raising awareness of this critical issue. Your money will go towards building workshops and training for people who support men following sexual trauma, as well as vital community mobilisation tools to prevent sexual violence from taking place.

About stichting MenAswell: Launched in 2020, we are the leading voice of male, GBTQ+ victims of sexual violence. Our board consists of educators, a political scientist, and a clinical practitioner.
