Help us with lucy's last treatment!

Update: 

We are starting the glucantime soon this cost around 440 euros and we need to do 2 blood test also 200 euro's each! Lucy is doing amazing at the moment and eating very well we really need to give her this last push in the right direction so she will stay and become healthy again🙏

Update:

So we got news from the specialist lucy is gonna need the start the leishmania treatment al over again! This means we are going to do glucantime injections soon! So we Update the fundraiser amount to what it's gonna cost intotal medicine and bloodtest 😓 after this treatment lucy should heal completely and the leishmania should be getting under control 

A few months ago everyone all stepped up and helped us save lucy from leishmania!

 After a lot of testing its also showed she had not just leishmania but also babesia... the organisation we got lucy from did not do the right testing and told us: it absolutely could not be babesia! 

So she had this disease for who knows how long. Now the thing is that this disease did a lot of damage to lucy. 

She became chronic anemic and the results of that is a heart murmur.  

We got lucy checked out this week and we do not have good news... she probably has kidney failure because of the Babesia and the leishmania. We got her urine sample looked at and they found a lot of proteins, this means 2 things or she has a bad bladder infection since June or longer or she has kidney failure. The bladder infection would be the lesser evil of the two and would be more easily treated! 

We know this because lucy very badly incontinent and we wash her stuff 4 times a day and clean her up, she's always my care baby. 

Lucy still cost me around 300 euros a months on medication and food alone 😔  and now we have to do the blood testing all over again to see what's happening to her. 

This is why I'm hoping everyone wants to help us again! We need the little support the keep helping Lucy and make sure she will have her happy ending 🙏  

Lucy's birthday is next week the 9th and how amazing would it be if everyone helped us for her birthday 🎂  

Lucy's starting to learn how to enjoy life so much and we can't give up hope now 🙏

This is Lucy! 

Lucy is a rescue dog from Cyprus. her past is a horrible one, filled with abuse and neglect. Sadly, she has leishmania, a mediterranean disease. 

Her leishmania got progressively worse after the journey to her forever home, with her health declining rapidly due to the stress and anxiety. 

She is a very traumatized dog, I know so from working first hand in Cyrpus with her. I immediately fell for her and won her trust, which was a very special moment for both of us! 

Lucy is the sweetest dog ever and deserves a second change in life and especially a healthy one. 

Taking care that she gets the medication and treatment she deserves is very expensive. So much that my savings are gone. 

This is why we are putting up this go fund me, we can use all the help that we can get. 

All the funds we don't end up using for Lucy will be gifted to animal causes and organizations who are also heavily impacted by this disease. 

We really hope you want to help Lucy, even the tiniest bits wil help. We are so grateful. The money wil be used for Lucy's upcoming bloodtest and the next treatment she wil need to get.
